Pancake Day!

So we took the fryer into school to cook up a class storm of pancakes. Each child had a go at making their pancake then we all sat down to share and eat!

Craig went to help pull down this roof today. The front part of the house burnt but all the tile had to come off.

Our back door was starting to stick when it was sliding, so Ewin and Craig pulled it all apart and had fun putting in a new slider! Works perfectly now.

Monday 16th, February

Emma had her swimming carnival. It was FREEZING! It was an outside pool that the heaters had broken down on and it even rained. Em got in and said it was like hitting ice! She did 50m freestyle and backstroke, and 25m freestyle. then we had an early mark to come home and have a warm shower. Em came about 4th in the freestyle 50m, 2nd in the backstroke 50m and 5th in the 25m freestyle.

Sorry for so many photos! Its to hard to choose just a few.

What a huge day it was for the first day back! Mum came up to help with getting both girls to school. With Chloe now going to High school it takes a bit more organizing. So Chloe and I took Liz and Annie with us to St Clare's, had no trouble dropping them off. Chloe even got to see Craig while he was delivering there! Mum took Emma to school and took some great photos for me! Chloe and Annie caught the bus home that afternoon and I walked down to get Em. Both girls were totally exhausted by the end of the day.

Sunday 1st, February While mum and dad were in town we all went out to dinner. Tried the local Chinese restaurant out which was very nice!

So I have finally started to move the Craft/Office area around after buying another cube bookcase from Ikea. So here is half the contents moved out the way. I did manage to get the bookcase put together with Chloe's help this night, but that was all.
Oh you can also see the new filing cabinets in the photo, we finally got to throw out the old 2 draw one that the draws didn't work in!!

Tuesday, 27th January

Last week before the kids go back to school!! The girls spent the afternoon relaxing under the hose and sprinkler. Cooled them down very nicely.

Monday, 26th January

Today is Australia Day. We spent it by the girls having another swim (freezing) at Kim's then going to Parklea Markets before the long drive home.

This beautiful little possum has taken a liking to living at Kim's house. Her gutter to be precise! Hopefully Kim will get possum box to put in the tree for him or her.

Saturday, 24th January

The start of the Australia Day long weekend. We spent the morning packing lightly to go to Kim's and cleaning up the house so everything was done for when we get home. I asked Em to go take a photo of something... so this is one of

Today I had to get up extra early to take the car for a service. It had been raining all night so I took advantage and weeded the gardens. Emma took a photo of our end result.
